100% Vegan artisanal ice cream you can feel good about eating.

At Fiddlehead Creamery, we make vegan ice cream for everyone. Because we use rich, organic coconut cream as our base, we make a non-dairy ice cream that you won’t believe is dairy-free - a treat that you can feel good about eating! We use organic ingredients and locally-sourced fruits, and our ice creams are made in small batches with intention and integrity. Made locally in Port Townsend, Washington - with love, not dairy!

Amanda Thieroff, owner and operator

Amanda is a vegan chef and educator from New York City who journeyed out to the Pacific Northwest to cook and teach aboard the historic Schooner Adventuress. Here she honed her passion for vegan and vegetarian cooking, as well as locally-sourced and sustainable foods. Interested in reaching a broader audience than already self-proclaimed vegans and vegetarians, Amanda started Fiddlehead Creamery to provide a vegan ice cream for vegans and non-vegans alike. "You don't have to be vegan to eat vegan foods," Amanda says. "You can make the choice to do something good for your body, for animals, and for the environment with each meal that you eat, each snack, each treat!"

Amanda makes each batch of Fiddlehead Creamery ice cream herself, and loves to dream up fun and creative flavors, like Avocado Mint Chip and Cardamom Rose! Flavors rotate seasonally; check our menu for updates.
